It ended up being an absolutely beautiful Sunday! Of course, I overdressed the kids because I was freezing in the morning, but that's beside the point. This afternoon the kids and I visited our friends Lacey, Ryan, and their daughter Hayden. Hayden's twin brother, Rowan, passed away last year and they had a celebration to commemorate the completion of a pond in their backyard in honor of him. You can learn more about Rowan, his pond, and his family here.
Russell had drill this weekend, so he wasn't able to join us. But, he was home by the time we returned. Some neighbor kids were outside when we got home, so I decided that we should let the kids play outside for a bit before dinner. This time of year, you just never know how many nice days we have left until we are confined inside due to the cold!
Jameson had fun playing with the kids, but he may have trouble in a few years. There are 2 girls his age who live on our circle. He is always chasing them and trying to kiss them. He is quite the ladies man!
Delilah seemed to be getting a little bored, so I strapped her into the neighbor's wagon and started walking her around. But, of course, big brother wanted to help out. He just needed a couple of reminders to walk slowly and not to attempt to go up the curb. But the duo had a lot of fun walking around the circle!
